What I enjoyed this week (Again....)

*Sigh* He we go again.....

1 Thing I learnt this week is learning how to share info on ethnic countries to other. Because it is good to learn another one's country of birth or origin.

1 Thing I enjoyed this week is finally getting to finish that plane on minecraft in digital media class. Because my class is doing a project on how to save the environment.

1 Thing I need to work on is my reading out loud. Because I sometime mispronounce words and enduring judgement on how loud my voice is. (Man my classmates are grouchy....) (You can comment about how you relate to it)

Spongebob meme

This is Spongebob. He lives in a pineapple under the sea living next to his grump neighbour Squidward and his best friend Patrick. Spongebob works at a burger restaurant known as the krusty krab which is owned by Eugene Krabs who was in a business rivalry with his former friend Sheldon Plankton who runs the chum bucket selling terrible chum based foods and creates robots. Spongebob's hobbies are making krabbie patties, jelly fishing which is catching jellyfish and spending time with his pet snail gary. He's a sponge with eyes, a long nose, a mouth with buck teeth, and arms and legs, plus he wears brown shorts, socks, black shoes, white short sleeved dress shirt with a red tie. If you think it does not make sense don't ask me, it's a cartoon for crying out loud!

What I Learnt/Enjoyed/Need to work on

1 thing I learnt is that littering is evil from the beach day. Because people should care for the environment

1 Thing I need to work on is my JavaScript coding to make it work. Because when I tried to copy a command it won't work.

1 Thing I enjoyed this week is the beach day where it's actually better than school. Because it's fun in the sun. And the sun is good for you because ya'll need vitamin D.

DHT Beach Day

Where have we been? Well we went to the beach for some fun activities! Okay here how it starts. The class went on 2 vans but I had to go by teacher's car because there is no room (Oof) and here we are at the surf lifesaving club which is located at the beach.

First order of business we practised CPR which stands for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation or something like that.... and yes we were taught by professional lifeguards. (Lifeguard names: Damian, Cassie, Sophrose, Lisa, Kirsty) 

Then we started picking rubbish, sure it sounds lame but we're doing this not for the William Pike challenge but for the community and the turtles and other sea life, so stop dropping rubbish.

Anyway... I had no lunch so my food are provided by the teachers (EEEeee.....) and then instead of surfing or going on the boat because I had no togs I remained on the sand making lines with a rake (Don't judge me for being weird. I'm just bored okay?) and then break time is over and did a quiz. Yes a quiz. And then at 2PM we head back to the school. Alright here is some pictures.

Why do we have this "R.O.A.R"?

Wanna know why we have R.O.A.R? Because it is vital here in Otaki College. What did I mean by that? So this "Sh-chool" will be happy or something..... Anyway we need it so we can improve out lives. Here's some examples.

Respect: Respecting your teachers or family.

O.C Pride: Representing your school in a good manner.

Active Learner: Listening to your teachers and obediently do your work.

Responsibility: Caring for you stuff, Family, Pets and Living Spaces.

And that is R.O.A.R. The thing we have in Otaki College!

What I learned this month 2019

1 thing I learned this week is Number Patterns in Maths because well to "improve your brain"

1 goal I achieved the week is finally getting started on earning Japanese

1 thing I need to improve on is my handwriting because most people say "Handwriting not good" which is an opportunity to "improve it"

Things that I enjoyed and need to focus on

1 thing that I enjoyed this week at school is Times Tables. Because why not? It could be useful.

1 thing that I need to focus on is to deal with stresses of school. And to focus on my reading.

My R.O.A.R goals for next week in class is to never forget to give my mum notices which means being more responsible.

My not really that great holidays.

Why does the title said that? Good question.... Because I was tormented by a 2 year old annoying toddler... Yep a 2 year old... And no I don't have any baby siblings. Why was I annoyed by a toddler? And how? Well I cannot tell you why is he here and yes it's a male. Well that little demon cries when an episode of tractor ted is over (Comment down if you heard of it) and likes to make loud noises and throws stuff at me and how does he fell about throwing stuff at me? He thinks it's fun for him! FOR ME IT AIN'T FUN IT'S ANNOYING!!!!!! And then he and his mother moved to the other house... Yeah... Anyway at the end of the holidays me, Raymond and Simon went to the Paraparaumu Pools and went swimming! (Finally...) And I went to the water slide a couple of times... And... Yep that's all... Yes it's done. Get out of here if you want more.

DHT Problem Solving Aug 2019

On August 30th 2019 five boys Justin (Me), Simons, Harrison, Teina and Lee did some problem solving maths. What is the problem? Well.... It's about.... Ummmm....... Could it be about time? Oh wait it is! :D Here is the problem about. Well it is about a girl started her homework at 4:10PM then finished her maths in 30 minutes making it 4:40pm, then did more homework for 15 minutes making it 4:55pm. And after that she took a 5 minute break making it 5:00pm. So yeah that is the problem. Here is how we did it. Well it was only Harrison :P. He wrote down 15 + 15 + 30 but then I noticed if it's 15 + 15 + 30 it would be 5:10pm but he said that the one is not meant to be there sooooo......... Yeah that's it. Here is what I've learnt from the maths: I learnt that you can decode the problem for example Jeff has 1 apple and then got 2 more apple how much apples does he have now? If I decode it like this 1 + 2 it equals 3. Don't worry it's just an example. Whelp I'm gonna end it here hope you folks enjoyed and put positive comments in the comment section.

DHT PROBLEM SOLVING 2019

Here's what I learnt in problem solving. I learnt how to work cooperatively. Well I used to occasionally work on the problems while the others talked about........... Ehhhhhhhhh..... Right now I started to help my group out because my teacher said "If anyone thou dares to slack off while thy others are doing the problem thy shalt be forever banished from their group and do thee own group." Or something like that, so everyone helped out in the group. Annnnnnd yeah we had to work cooperatively for now on. Anyway let's talk about cooperation. What is cooperation exactly? Well it's the act of working together, why should we work together? Well when you work with others the outcome of your group's project will have a better outcome. Why should you cooperate? It's better than working alone on something that is complex as building a nuclear missile.... It's just an example just get over it. Do you know what groups do to find a solution? They use brainstorming to find a solution that works best that's what! Anyway here is a problem that the group I'm with is working on  *If you can read what's on the image then there's no need for glasses*

Learning this term

There is one thing I learnt about in school this term that is helpful is that violence does not solve problems unless you're playing minecraft keep dem creepers away from your house that you've been working on for 30 minutes.

And there is one thing that I want to improve on my learning is being more cooperative with others. Yes that's what I want to improve.

The only thing I enjoyed learning is digital media because you get to make your mini movies, learn coding and playing minecraft (EDUCATIONAL EDITION) which is one of my favourite classes.

And that's about all. Yep that's it.

What I wanted to do in the holidays...

What I want to do in the holidays? Nothing! Because I live in a broke household....... So I decided to do some fun things at home like: Watching Netflix, Hanging out with friends, Or maybe go to the pools if you can afford to go there! Why waste your money on a plane trip? Where you can have long walks at your local beach or go camping at your local forest! Or if you're like me who usually play games, just play on your Xbox or playstation or nintendo game consoles with yourself or with siblings or friends if you're the only child, or even your Dad, Uncle etc.

🚀 How to make a rocket 🚀

Step 1. Grab a 1.5 Litre bottle.

Step 2. Cut out 3-4 fins from card, Ice cream lids, Cardboard.

Step 3. Glue the fins to the bottle.

Step 4. Make a nose from either paper or from another bottle.

Step 5. Ask a parent to make a launcher for your rocket.

Step 6. Glue the nose to the bottom of the bottle.

Step 7. Make it look fancy with makers, paint etc.

Step 8. Attach a bike pump to the launcher.

Step 9. Fill the bottle with 250 ml of water.

Step 10. Put on your cap with that garden hose attachment hot glued to it.

Step 11. Pump it to 60 psi.

Step 12. Check the wind. If it's too windy launch it next time but if it's okay move on to step 13.

Step 13. Launch your rocket.

My 4 day weekend

Yesterday on Tuesday it was teachers only day due to the teachers having to go on strike because  they are being worked to death with less pay so they need time for their friends and their families. Huh that explains it.....  And also they need more time for teaching their students. At the moment their time is always consumed by awful and trashy paperwork (#Savethetrees btw)

Do I agree or disagree? I don't really care about it. Because I just don't care about strikes due to the fact that it is not my problem. If someone says "Help us because we're doing a strike" I would say "Sorry mate not my problem."

What did i do in the learning support room?

All I did is go on my chromebook because there is nothing else to do other than that fake game show that me and Simon made called "Coin-splosion" where we stack yellow connect four counters and placed them on a jenga boom toy explosive thing and we wait before there's a................ COIN-SPLOSION!!!!!!!!!!! Plus we sometimes play connect-four

What did I do in the holidays?

Psst hey...... Wanna know what I did in the school holidays? All I did is staying home.... That's all I'm gonna say........ All I did is just stay home and watch TV and play on my computer at my mum's shop..... I know it's boring here's the reasons why. It's because 1. We cannot afford to go to other countries. 2. A lot of work  because my mum is so caught up in work thus won't letting us go anywhere. And those are the reasons why I stayed at home..... I'm sure you may do heaps of fun stuff like going to the movies, Visit another countries and All the stuff that's fun while all I did is nothing but to play games at home...... I'm not jealous by the way...... I'm just....... You know what? I'm gonna end this post here.... Science Fair 2019

On Thu, 28 Mar 2019 at 12:45 at Otaki college we went on a science fair with Ms McLean, Why? Because she is our science teacher and at the time we were doing science class at the time. We learnt about how oxygen and carbon dioxide mix into CO2 and how magnetic metals are slower to non magnetic metals when they fall down a metal tube, And plus we listened to lectures about sparks, oxygen and carbon dioxide and sulphur, and random elements Here are photos of the things at the science fair below here ↘

Kites

*Cleaning up dusty old blog %100* *Cleaning complete* *Welcome Random person reading this blog* Sorry about that I haven't blogged for ages which is why there is some kind cleaning sequence...... and stuff............ anyway welcome to this blog today I am writing kites. Why? Because I actually made my own from scratch *it's a lie I just used a green kite template* and WOW It worked :D :D :D anyway in all seriousness we've made kites by we I mean my class and me made kites that we'll never fly around with :P we could put them up for decoration or fly them at home or maybe someday at the school field or something....... Anyway we started to make kites in the school hall by an Aussie named "Tony Rice" or something like that to teach us how to make kites so the group that I was was in  made our kites gotten our strings for the kites and most of the kids took them home. Well that is all I wrote thank you for was- I mean reading this and have a fun education.
